Is it normal for a Driveway/Landscape company to ask for a 45% payment upfront?

 I booked in an assembly to open countryside / landscape the front of my house and I suppose that the initial payment is 45% for materials. but one still sees the watchdog Companys invariable never return?

 There is an appalling number of spouters on here need a bag! Why a Contractor (credit or not) get all your documents for you, the inventory of labor for you, paying ads, taxes, compensation, and even his phone bill before purchasing to be a capital?

How should I landscape an area alongside my driveway to screen out the neighbors and be low maintenance?
